Plasma

Plasma technology allows for efficient cutting with relaxed tolerances through a variety of materials. The Plasma (HT2000) system employs a process using electricity with various gas combinations creating an arc capable of separating metal of varying sizes into specific shapes. Plasma can cut up to 2 in. and generally hold dimensions within .0625 in.

Anchor's machine is situated on a 13 ft. by 60 ft. water table capable of cutting parts of all sizes. There are two plasma torches on the machine, doubling the number of parts cut in the same amount of time.

The Hy-definition Plasma (HD4070) system is a process using a more constricted plasma jet for a higher arc density and more accurate cutting. As a result, the Hy-definition Plasma delivers clean, smooth and precise cuts that are virtually dross-free to reduce secondary finishing. Hy-definition Plasma can cut up to .75 in. and generally holds dimensions within .031 in.
